Payees, along with their mailing address and account number are created one time and stored for future payments. To initiate a payment the customer simply fills in the dollar amount and uses the calendar feature to select the date the payment is due. The calendar automatically determines the date the payment will be sent based on whether it will be sent electronically or a check will be printed and mailed. The payment details are provided on your bank statement.

Whether you want to send a domestic or international wire transfer, our service enables you to quickly and securely transfer funds from your Capital City Bank account to another person, business or financial institution. You may make secure wire transfers as either a one-time wire transfer or a recurring transfer.

Recurring Wire Transfers - For wire transfers being sent to the same party on an ongoing basis, you can create transfer instructions one time and access this template each time you need to wire funds to that entity. The only information that needs to be changed is the amount and the date.

One-time wire Transfer - With a one-time wire transfer, you provide all of the beneficiary information each time you initiate a wire transfer. 

To enhance security, your Company Administrator has the ability to set the maximum dollar amount each user is authorized to wire out, as well as establishing dual authorization requirements. As an additional bank security requirement, an Out of Band Authentication code will be required for each transaction submitted.

Deadlines - Domestic wire requests must be initiated and approved by 3:00 p.m. (Central Time) and International requests by 2:00 p.m for the wire to be sent for same day credit. Requests received after these times will be sent on the following business day.

Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions are electronic debits and credits used to efficiently disburse payments and collect receipts through direct payment from any bank account in the United States. ACH payments are the most common electronic payments today. If your business issues or receives a large number of checks, makes payments, processes payroll, or has any type of transaction processing, then Capital City Bank's ACH Origination service can help.

Check Positive Pay 

Positive Pay is designed to detect potential unauthorized payments from your accounts by comparing a file of the checks you have issued against the checks that have been presented for payment. Email alerts allow you to approve or decline payment on any rejected items. Check Positive Pay is managed through our secure Business Online Banking. 

ACH Positive Pay 

ACH Positive Pay helps you safeguard against fraudulent activity by filtering or blocking unauthorized ACH withdrawals. You will work with a Business Banker to establish a list of “authorized” ACH transactions the bank is allowed to pay. If a payment doesn't match your list, you will be notified via email and you can either pay or return the item.

If an electronic withdrawal attempts to post to the account and it is not on the approved list, it will be suspended and an email notification will be sent asking you to log into Business Online Banking, view the exception, and determine whether to pay or return the item.
